Inspired by Coco Chanel this collection of straight-lined dresses and jackets are made of countless of colourful wool strings, including a lot of recycled material. A perfect synthesis of her motto “Recycling-Couturier”, since many items are crafted as handmade and unique pieces with a great love of detail. Recycled materials play a central role. Van Rees describes authenticity as appreciation, as time investment, as the awareness and love dedicated to the process of creating fashion.

With these styles she won this month the innovative Humanity in Fashion Award by Hessnatur (who’s jury was the legendary Mallorcan Miquel Androver). The award is meant to promote young designers who have proved persistence and sustainability in their fashion design and production.
