Misericordia is the first Peruvian brand of clothing present on the international fashion scene. The clothes are ethically produced in the Misericordia workshop in Lima and since 2002 combines avant-garde artistic and social commitment. Misericordia is a team of seamstresses, that work together with the creator of the brand, designer Aurélyen and since 2008 they also make a special line for Kris Van Assche. These two parts of the scissors were photographed by Aurelyen on one of the flea markets in Buenos Aires – a city where the most famous antique shops of Latin America are located. The designer wanted to highlight and express the danger of tailoring thus showing the respect for Misericordia sewing team. Misericordia, a quest for aestheticism is always provocative.

Misericordia es un grupo de costureras, que trabajan mano a mano con la  el creador de la marca, Aurélyen y que desde 2008 también hacen una línea especial para Kris Van Assche. Me gusta mucho el estampado de esta camiseta orgánica, así como la historia detrás:

Las dos partes de la tijera fueron fotografiadas por Aurelyen en uno de los mercados de pulgas de Buenos Aires, una ciudad donde se encuentran los mas famosos anticuarios de Latinoamérica. La diseñadora quería mostrar también sus respetos por las mujeres costureras que cada día trabajan con esta herramienta que también puede ser peligrosa.
