‘Chance‘ is the name of this powerful collection by Elena Martin, full of interesting textures in a monochrome palette. The garments are inspired in the world of magic, magic that plays with a common need to know the future and change one’s luck through Tarot and other divinatory games and beliefs. I wanted to post this collection by Calla Hayes as a reminder to add more color a nod of quirkiness to my style. Love the relaxed and creative feeling of the looks. The idea behind the collection is great inspiration: “I invented a story about a heartbroken Parisian girl who moves to Nashville to become a country music star.”
Get out of the comfort zone and do something unexpected. Dress accordingly!

I wanted leather, cuir feel in the collection, but I also wanted to respect the animals and leather… So in martin lamothe we have develop a fabric that looks, feels, behaves like the thinnest and nicest sheepskin.I also wanted a modern feel a human feel and casual wear identity is the perfect example for it…I also wanted a knit confortable feel… so appart from developing this textile we have gone further and with a trompe d’oeil we have recreated knitted garments…Finally I also wanted something really dramatic and raw….so with a cutted pleated-gather texture we have reached it.Here you can see the three textures…just like leather, comfortable knit fitdrama raw lookElena Martin

Lina Michal is a Swedish fashion designer who has been awarded most visionary designer 2013 by the final public vote on vogue.it/talents. Michal has previously intern for Mary Kratantzou and and will be an Editorial Intern at Opening Ceremony in New York. With her exam collection Heathen Hearts she wanted to examine her Swedish heritage and modern man’s primitive urge to decorate oneself. Bold, beautiful, baroque, her designs are stunning. Lina will join MUUSE and design a MUUSE Editions capsule collection to be produced and sold by MUUSE.
