Ida Klamborn is one of the designers that will kick off Stockholm Fashion Week as part of the Rookies candidates of 2013. Great structural and geometric shapes, sharp cuts and innovative materials, she makes a really bold statement with her graduated collection of the Master in Fashion and Textil design of Borås Högskolan. Absolutely high fashion, I venture she will be the winner this year ;-)

The other participants designers are: Aniv von Borche, Anna Ekre, C Dellstrand, Elin Eng, Krista Kretzschmar Jewellery, Mes Dames, Nor Autonom, Orphan Bird, Restructional Clothing and Sofie Bly. The Rookies competition has helped launch the career of some now big names in the Swedish fashion like House of Dagmar or Ida Pyk. Last year, Barcelona based Ida Johansson was selected to participate in the show.
