In a perfect timing, (think about the recently launched exhibition at the MET “Punk: Chaos to Couture”) Loewe presented last Tuesday at the Spanish embassy in Tokyo its latest collaboration project: a capsule collection of prèt-a-porter garments designed by Junya Watanabe Commes des Garçons. The interplay of denim and leather that are patent in the casual/luxury garments is featured of course on the bags, like on the iconic Amazona model.
The Loewe and Junya Watanabe Comme des Garçons will be launched at Dover Street Market Ginza at the end of August, and then available from the 1st September 2013 in 40 stores worldwide — including Jeffreys in New York, as well as Loewe’s own stores — and online at www.loewe.com.
