In a nutshell: Real fair trade and a transparent production chain for a luxury product. Piola is a luxury independent fashion label based in Paris and all of their shoes are manufactured in Perú in collaboration with 33 fair trade rubber producers and 55 organic cotton producers, an economic development project in partnership with a UN organization. The idea is to take special care collecting the raw materials from the trees in the Amazonas and have a great assembly in Portugal. After showing their collection at Tranoï and Pitti Uomo, they decided to launch a campaign to raise the funds necessary to finally launch the brand in Kickstarter.
