“For the Acne Studios Spring/Summer 2013 collection we wanted to be honest in the way we work. Defining elements to the way we design, we outlined three key words. Music, is my background and is incredibly important to me and the team, acting as a major inspiration in our lives. Collage, is very important in our process of design, as we work in an abstract collage way, clashing inspiration and influences. Then New, as we are always striving to explore something new and contemporary. The end result is a clash of romantic sillhouettes, jockey outfits and street style. Fabrics this season are natural with crushed linens, cottons, washed silks and leathers contrasting with nylons, woven stripes and technical double duchesse. Colours range from romantic whites and naturals tostrong colours referencing jockey uniforms, contrasting with a hit of black.”
