While I love to surf online marketplaces (sometimes to find a bargain and at times in search of something quirky), I think we can all agree that it can be a bit overwhelming mainly because there are so many cool things and websites out there. That’s why a simple and clean layout always is more than welcome.
Bonanza has a nice design and their motto promises “everything but the ordinary”. The site lives up to it by presenting interesting collectibles, but as in any flea market there is the chance of getting lost browsing the “ordinary” stuff. Bonanza solved this problem giving the user the option of navigating curated items and collections. I recommend navigating through these hand-picked lists the first thing you do when you enter the site. Another good feature: while the products have fixed prices, there’s access to a live-chat to contact directly with the seller and (possibly) negotiate a better deal.
The site is a good option to buy fashion, home decor or collectibles and at the same time sell your goods without paying much commission. Setting up a storefront is free and you only pay a fee if an item is sold.

Me gusta visitar tiendas online de segunda mano (a veces para encontrar algo a buen precio, a veces para darme un gusto con algo peculiar), pero creo que estamos todos de acuerdo que puede ser un poco agotador después de un rato, más que nada por la cantidad de cosas que hay para ver en internet. Así que es de agradecer un diseño limpio y claro.
Bonanza tiene un buen diseño y su slogan promete: “todo menos lo ordinario”. La web hace honor a esto presentando piezas de colección y limitadas, pero seamos sinceros, como en cualquier flea market, existe la posibilidad de perderse en las cosas más “ordinarias”. Para solucionar este problema, Bonanza tiene una opción que ayuda al usuario a navegar entre colecciones y elementos elegidos a mano por otros usuarios. Yo recomiendo dar una vuelta por una de estas colecciones antes de empezar para no desanimarse. Otra cosa buena del site: todos los precios son finales, aunque siempre está la opción de regatear con el vendendor con un chat en vivo.
Una web interesante para comprar moda, decoración o coleccionables y al mismo tiempo, una opción para vender tu cosas sin tener que pagar demasiada comisión (armar la tienda es gratis, sólo pagas si se vende algo).
Una nota: la versión en español todavía la están revisando, así que algunas de las traducciones son cuanto menos peculiares!
