Just a quick stop to make a highlight on todays main headline fot the 25th of November, the day for the elimination of violence against women. I decided to write the word “excuses” in this illustration regarding this subject, because I feel that it’s the first thing we women do, when we face any kind of violence (not only physical, but psychological). There is a way to stop violence and disrespect, and that is to love yourself, in order to increase your self-esteem, and to be aware, that no one has the right to make you feel unworthy. Sadly there will be monsters and unstable individuals in this world but it is up to us to not let them enter our lives (or show them the door as soon as possible).

Una pequeña parada para hacer énfasis en el principal titular del día de hoy, 25 de noviembre, el día que se ha designado para recordar que todavía queda mucho para eliminar la violencia en contra de las mujeres. He decidido escribir la palabra “excusas” en esta ilustración sobre el tema, ya que siento que es una de las primeras cosas que las mujeres hacemos (o soportamos), cuando nos encontramos con cualquier tipo de violencia (tanto sea física como psicológica). Hay una manera de parar la violencia y la falta de respeto, y esto es amarte a tí misma, para subir tu autoestima, y ser conciente, de que nadie, NADIE, tiene derecho a hacerte sentir infravalorada. Lamentablemente habrá monstruos e individuos inestables en este mundo, pero depende de nosotras no dejarlos entrar en nuestra vida (o mostrarles la puerta lo antes posible).
